The skin is composed of cells called fibroblasts, which produce collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, which are connective tissues, making the skin firm.
But in the late twenties, the function of fibroblasts starts deteriorating, and they become incapable of producing these connective tissues in proper amounts. Ultimately, your skin becomes wrinkled and loses its moisture.
