She is dedicated to providing high-quality orthodontic care for adults and children using a diverse range of brace options. Helen always takes time to discuss her patients’ concerns, requirements and expectations to provide a personalised treatment plan. She particularly enjoys treating children, developing a rapport with them throughout treatment and seeing them blossom as they gain confidence in their new smile. Here at Conway House, she works closely with dental colleagues and specialists to provide all her patients with comprehensive treatment integrated to address all their dental needs.
Helen works in both hospital and dental practice, enjoying the variety of clinical experience this brings, and plays an active role in the British Orthodontic Society. Helen qualified from the University of Bristol, winning the gold medal for her graduating year, and spent the early years of her career gaining experience in a range of dental specialities both in the UK and Australia. She undertook her orthodontic training at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and the UCL Eastman Dental Institute, gaining MClinDent in Orthodontics with Distinction in 2012, followed by Royal College Membership in Orthodontics in 2014. She has worked as a hospital specialist and in private practice locally since, and, more recently, obtained Royal College Fellowship in Orthodontics and now works as a Consultant Orthodontist in Buckinghamshire.
Helen has a keen interest in teaching and research; she has published in national and international dental journals and is a peer reviewer for two orthodontic journals.
Outside of work, Helen has two energetic boys who keep her busy and tries to find time to fit in running and learning to play the piano.
