AJ is a Consultant and Clinical lead for Restorative Dentistry and Implantology at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals. In this role he provides complex oral rehabilitation for patients who have suffered cancer, facial trauma and developmental disorders.

He also provides specialist dental care at Conway house for patients who require complex care.

AJ graduated from King’s College London in 2003 and spent 2 years in general dental practice. He then worked as a Senior House Officer for 3 years prior to 5 years of Specialist training at King’s College and St George’s Hospitals in London.

During this period he obtained membership of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons’ of Edinburgh and England.

He concurrently read law at Cardiff University and completed his Masters degree.

He was awarded an Honorary Lectureship and Fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and became an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

AJ still publishes and teaches extensively and is an accredited Expert Witness.

Outside of work AJ spends as much time as possible with his family and enjoys travelling and photography.
