Mital graduated in dentistry, with honours, from Cardiff University in 2012 and attained the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2013.
After working in general dental practice, Mital subsequently spent two years as a Senior House Officer in various hospitals around the country where he has gained wide-ranging experience in oral surgery and restorative dentistry, before deciding to pursue a career in periodontics.
Mital has completed an intensive four-year specialist programme in periodontology at Guy’s Hospital (Kings College, London) and attained the Membership in Periodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2019. He is an active member of the British Society of Periodontology, The European Federation of Periodontology and European Association of Osseointegration. and works as a part time specialist clinical teacher at Guy’s Hospital. He has a particular interest in treating nervous patients with sedation and is a member of SAAD (Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry).
Mital joined Conway House in 2019 and is enthusiastic about treating patients with a wide variety of complex gum problems. As a specialist periodontist he is experienced in providing all aspects of periodontal care, bone reconstruction and the placement of dental implants. He additionally accepts referrals for the management of failing dental implants.
