After working in general dental practice, Mital subsequently spent two years as a Senior House Officer in various hospitals around the country, where he gained wide-ranging experience in oral surgery and restorative dentistry, before deciding to pursue a career in periodontics.
Mital has completed an intensive four-year specialist programme in periodontology at Guy’s Hospital (King’s College, London) and attained the Membership in Periodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2019. He is an active member of the British Society of Periodontology, the European Federation of Periodontology, and the European Association of Osseointegration, and works as a part-time specialist clinical teacher at Guy’s Hospital. He has a particular interest in treating nervous patients with sedation and is a member of SAAD (Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry).
Mital joined Conway House in 2019 and is enthusiastic about treating patients with a wide variety of complex gum problems. As a specialist periodontist, he is experienced in providing all aspects of periodontal care, bone reconstruction and the placement of dental implants. He additionally accepts referrals for the management of failing dental implants.
